Take your favorite hummus and add a layer of flavor and texture with Savory + Seed granola! This is great for sharing as a casual appetizer.
ELEVATED HUMMUS BOWL
4 Servings
Ingredients:
- 8 to 10 ounces of your preferred hummus or homemade
- ¼ cup diced sun dried tomatoes packed in oil
- ¼ cup Savory + Seed granola
- ¼ cup drained and rinsed canned chickpeas
- A few sprigs of torn mint or basil
- Warm pita slices for serving
- Veggies for serving - carrots, cucumbers, celery, bell peppers, endive
Instructions:
- Empty the contents of your hummus into a large shallow bowl and stir to smooth and make a well in the center.
- In a separate bowl combine the chickpeas, mint or basil, sun dried tomatoes and a little bit of the oil from the sun dried tomatoes, then place the mixture into the well of the hummus.
- Sprinkle Savory + Seed on top and drizzle with extra oil if desired.
- Serve with a platter of pita and veggies for scooping.
